
Falcon & Winter Soldier Series Coming To Disney’s Streaming Service
With Disney set to launch its new streaming service next year, Disney is putting some of their biggest franchises onto their new platform to intice subscribers. Following reports of new Marvel shows based on Loki and the Scarlet Witch are being developed, its also being reported by Variety that a new limited series based on Marvel’s Falcon and Winter Soldier, is also being developed.
This series is set to see Anthony Mackie Return as Falcon and Sebastian Stan return to play the Winter Solider.
The series is set to be written by Malcolm Spellman, who previously wrote the Fox series “Empire”. Both characters have been a major part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, having appeared in Avengers: Infinity War, Ant-Man and the Captain America movies.
Neither Disney nor Marvel have confirmed the series is in production, but along with recent announcements of other Marvel shows including Luke Cage and Iron Fist being cancelled by Netflix, Disney
