Many ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Cast Members Set To Return For 20th Season
The nineteenth season of “Grey’s Anatomy” has just come to a close, and it’s already been confirmed that the show will be returning for a twentieth season.
“Grey’s Anatomy” is considered one of the great television shows of our time and follows a team of doctors at Grey Sloan Memorial who are faced with life-or-death decisions daily. They seek comfort from one another, and, at times, more than just friendship. Together they discover that neither medicine nor relationships can be defined in black and white.
While it’s normal for negotiations to begin shortly after the show’s renewal, according to Deadline, these negotiations didn’t take too long for the series regulars whose contracts have finished.
With many of the long-running actors will be returning, including James Pickens Jr (Richard), Chandra Wilson (Bailey), Kevin McKidd (Owen), Kim Raver (Teddy), Camilla Luddington (Jo), and Caterina Scorsone (Amelia).
The latest season has seen some well-known faces leave, including Kelly McCreary (Maggie Pierce), along with the show’s main character, Meridith Grey, played by Ellen Pompeo, but the door is wide open for her character to return, and she is still going to be the executive producer on the show and continues to provide the series’ voiceover.
Previous seasons of “Grey’s Anatomy” are available to stream now on Hulu and on Disney+ in many countries around the world.
