Kylie Cantrall’s New “Descendants” Music Video “Red Christmas” Available Now On Disney+
To tie in with tickets going on sale for the upcoming “Descendants/Zombies: Worlds Collide Tour”, Disney has released a brand new music video called “Red Christmas,” which is an all-new holiday song by Kylie Cantrall that has been inspired by the hit movie “Descendants: The Rise of Red,” available today on YouTube and Disney+.
The film tells the story of what happens when Headmaster Uma extends an invitation to the school to another VK – Red, the rebellious daughter of the tyrannical Queen of Hearts from Wonderland. The Queen of Hearts has long held a grudge against Auradon, especially against Cinderella, and seizes the opportunity to seek revenge when she drops her daughter off at school. When the Queen of Hearts incites a coup against Auradon, Red must team up with Cinderella’s perfectionist daughter, Chloe, as they travel back in time to try to undo the traumatic event that set the young Queen of Hearts down her villainous path.
Cantrall originated the character in this summer’s smash hit Disney Original movie “Descendants: The Rise of Red,” becoming Disney+’s most-watched Live Action Original Movie since ‘Hocus Pocus 2’ with over 33 million views in just 12 weeks.
The song has also been released on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and other digital platforms.
As part of “Disney Channel’s Fa-la-la-lidays,” the “Red Christmas” music video will premiere November 29th at 9:45 PM following the premiere of “Descendants: The Rise of Red Sing-Along” at 8 PM PT on Disney Channel.
Kylie Cantrall will perform “Red Christmas” in the 98th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade aboard The Brick-Changer Float by The LEGO Group on Thursday, 28th November 2024 and will also be performing for the upcoming interactive live concert experience, “Descendants/Zombies: Worlds Collide Tour” – which celebrates the music from these two popular Disney franchises, coming to arenas across North America in Summer 2025.
