Disney has announced a brand-new Korean drama series called “Light Shop”, which will be coming to Disney+ in the second half of 2024.  This new series will delve into the depths of human experience and explore the themes of life, death and what truly makes us human.

This new series is about a group of strangers, each struggling to come to terms with a traumatic event in their past. Going about their daily lives, each individual is mysteriously drawn to a light shop that sits at the end of a seedy alleyway. Guarded by a vigilant shopkeeper, the light shop could hold the key to the strangers’ pasts, presents and futures.

The upcoming series will be directed by Kim Hee Won and being created by Kang Full, who is the creator of the smash hit Disney+ Original series, “Moving”.  This series is an adaptation of Kang’s popular webtoon of the same name.

This new Korean series will star Bae Seong-woo, Ju Ji-hoon, Park Bo-young, and Lee Jung-eun.
