Just days after stepping back from the British Royal Family, the Duchess Of Sussex, Meghan Markle, has signed a voiceover deal with Disney on a unspecified project, according to The Times.
This deal will see Disney pay a donation to the conservation charity “Elephants Without Borders”, an organisation that helps to track and protect the animals from poaching, instead of the voiceover fee being paid to Meghan Markle.
The recording was apparently done before Prince Harry and Meghan spent 6 weeks in Canada over the Christmas period.
My first thought when I heard the news of this voiceover, was a new project called “Elephant” that was revealed last week during a “Coming to Disney+ In 2020” trailer. So this just feels like a natural fit, especially considering the charity that her fee is being donated to.
However neither Disney nor the Duchess of Sussex has confirmed the news.
This trailer only showed us a small glimpse of “Elephant”, but it’s likely to be a DisneyNature documentary film.
Check out that trailer below:
Do you think Meghan has provided the voice over for the Disney+ Elephant project?
