Nielsen has announced its top 10 streaming charts for the United States for the week of 16th October 2023 through 22nd October 2023. There are four different charts, Top 10 Originals, Acquired Shows, Movies and a combined total chart.

The latest Marvel Studios series, “Loki”, continues to pull in audiences on Disney+. However, in an exciting development, “Goosebumps” was actually watched more than “Loki”.  This might have been because the show was released on both Hulu and Disney+, broadening its reach, which managed to get onto the overall charts.    The success of “Goosebumps” will hopefully be enough to secure a potential second season. 

As per usual, the popular Australian animated series, “Bluey” continues to pull in audiences for Disney+, on both the overall and acquired charts.  With “The Simpsons” also continuing to pull in viewers on Disney+.

The latest Pixar film, “Elemental”, was the most popular film on Disney+ this week, just ahead of “Haunted Mansion”.  Meanwhile, “The Nightmare Before Christmas” continued to get a boost for the Halloween season.

Disney’s ABC mega-hit “Grey’s Anatomy” also continues to pull in audiences on Hulu and Netflix in the US, almost toppling the mega-hit, “Suits”.. Internationally, the show is available on Disney+.
