Disney+ Reveals D23: The Ultimate Fan Event Streaming Schedule
This weekend, D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event returns in Anaheim, California, where guests attending will be able get to experience Disney storytelling, creativity, and innovation. Across three packed days, the event will bring together stars and storytellers for unforgettable moments including sneak peeks, behind-the‑scenes access, thrilling performances, immersive experiences, expanded shopping, and surprises that only Disney can deliver.
However, for those of us at home that aren’t lucky enough to be attending the event, Disney has now revealed that Disney+ will be streaming some of the panels and showcase presentations around the world, along with new Disney+ Perks offers and experiences.
A selection of panels and showcase presentations will stream on Disney+ globally, including:
- Beauty and the Beast: A Tale as Old as Time 35th Anniversary Celebration – Live at 11 am PT on August 14
- Percy Jackson and the Olympians: Season 3 Panel – Live at 3:30 pm PT on August 15
- Disney Rewind Encore Concert – Live at 6:30 pm PT on August 15
- Horizons: Disney Experiences Showcase – Live at 7 pm PT on August 15
- Disney Princess: The Ultimate Concert Celebration – Recorded live from Disneyland Resort and begins streaming August 16
- Disney Worldbuilders Panel with Jared Bush, Pete Docter, Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, and Kevin Feige, moderated by Leslie Iwerks – Live at 10:15 am PT on August 16
- Disney Legends Awards Ceremony – Recorded live and begins streaming at 6 pm PT on August 16
It’s interesting that Disney is livestreaming two of the three main showcases from the Honda Center, with the Disney Legends and Horizons: Disney Experiences Showcase. But it doesn’t look like they will be livestreaming the Entertainment Showcase on Friday evening, which will be where they reveal new details on the movies and TV shows coming to Disney+, along with video games and live shows.
It’s also been revealed that from August 14th 2026, eligible subscribers in the United States can claim a commemorative digital pin from Disney Pinnacle by Dapper Labs, alongside new Perks dropping online from collaborators like ESPN College Football, Marvel Studios, and more.
Roger’s Take: This lineup is pretty good for those of us that aren’t attending, we get to enjoy two of the major presentations and I’m certainly planning on watching the Disney Parks Showcase and the Percy Jackson panel, but it’s a little disappointing that the Entertainment panel isn’t streaming, but often they don’t want clips and teasers getting out too early, though I expect most of the trailers will get released online at the same time.
