Disney+ Series “Big Shot” Suspends Filming Again Due To Covid-19 Positive Test
Unfortunately, the Disney+ series, “Big Shot”, has once again had to shut down production for 10 days due to a positive Covid test.
“Big Shot” follows a temperamental college basketball coach who gets fired from his job and must take a teaching and coaching job at an elite all-girls private high school. “Big Shot” stars John Stamos and an ensemble cast of up-and-coming actors alongside Yvette Nicole Brown.
The positive case was picked up last week during a regular screening, and the person infected was in Zone 1 on the set. This then triggers a series of events including contact tracing, to put anyone who has been near the infected person to go into quarantine.
John Stamos recently took to social media to remind people to stick to the rules to protect not just themselves but others and to share his experience of being in quarantine.
Filming on the Disney+ series has been closed down previously due to someone testing positive and filming was paused after the holiday break due to an increase in cases locally. The latest update before the holiday shutdown was that the team only had a couple of episodes left to film, so the show should be due to end filming soon.
“Big Shot” is due to arrive on Disney+ later this year.
