The Coronavirus continues to cause delays to Disney+ productions as Deadline has reported that filming on the Disney+ upcoming series, “Big Shot”. Filming was suspended on Wednesday due to a positive COVID-19 test, which was taken as part of the regular screening process.

Luckily the test result turned out to be a false positive and production will be resumed soon. This has happened on a number of shows being filmed such as “Young Sheldon” and “The Bold and the Beautiful”.

The 10-episode series follows a temperamental college basketball coach (John Stamos) who gets fired from his job and must take a teaching and coaching job at an elite all-girls private high school.

Big Shot has been written and executive produced by David E. Kelley and Dean Lorey. It is being produced by ABC Studios in Los Angeles.
