While Disney has added content from its brands such as 20th Century Studios, Hulu, ABC and Searchlight to Disney+ in many countries including Canada, Australia and Europe, it isn’t available in the United States and isn’t currently going to be coming to the US.

This is because, in the United States, Disney is operating Hulu, which is where content from those brand will be available.

Because Comcast still owns 33% of Hulu until 2024, which is when the Walt Disney Company can buy out the remaining share, it causes issues regarding putting more content on Disney+, as Disney will need to maintain adding content to Hulu through its studios such as Searchlight, FX, ABC and more.
