Disney has been creating a new original holiday film for Disney+ called “Dashing Through The Snow” for years, and it tells the story of a divorced social worker for the Atlanta police department who despises Christmas due to a painful childhood memory. When sent on a call while spending Christmas Eve with his daughter, he inadvertently evokes the wrath of a local politician but meets a man who helps him understand the joy and magic of Christmas.
“Dashing Through The Snow” stars Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Lil Rel Howery, Teyonah Parris, Oscar Nunez, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Ravi Patel, Marcus Lewis, Sebastian Sozzi, Gina Brillon, and Madison Skye Validum.
It looks like we are going to be seeing this one on our screens pretty soon, as the movie’s composer, Christopher Lennertz has revealed on social media that he has recently recorded the score of the film at the Eastwood Scoring Stage, also known as Clint Eastwood Scoring Stage, which is located at the Warner Bros. Studios lot in Burbank. Christopher Lennertz has previously worked on “Lost in Space”, “Sausage Party”, and “Agent Carter”.

Filming on “Dashing Through The Snow” took place in Atlanta last year and will be directed by Tim Story, who will also be an executive producer. It will be produced by Will Packer through his Will Packer Productions, and John Jacobs through his Smart Entertainment. Johanna Byer, Ross Fanger and Zac Unterman will all be executive producers on the film.
No Disney+ release date has yet been announced, but expect to see it released during this year’s holiday season.
