Anthony Edwards & J. Smith-Cameron To Star In FX’s “Seven Sisters”
Disney’s FX is developing a brand new pilot called “Seven Sisters”, which is about a large, tightknit family begins to unravel when a sister starts communicating with a voice no one else can hear — forcing each of them to confront long-buried secrets.
The new series is going to star Elizabeth Olsen and Cristin Milioti. According to Deadline, this new series will also star Anthony Edwards and J. Smith-Cameron, who will play the roles of the family patriarch Paul Bosco and his wife, Francesca.
Anthony Edwards has previously starred in the hit drama series, “ER”, “Billions”, “Inventing Anna” and “Top Gun”, while J. Smith-Cameron has previously starred in the hit HBO series, “Succession”, along with “In the Know”, “Rectify”, and HBO’s ”True Blood”.
“Seven Sisters” is being created by Will Arbery (Succession), who has written the pilot and executive produced the show, along with Garrett Basch (Dead Ringers) and Sean Durkin (What We Do In The Shadows). Sean will also direct the pilot. Elizabeth has previously worked with Sean on the movie Martha Marcy May.
Garrett also has a overall deal with FX, where he has previously worked on “Devs”, “Reservations Dogs”, “What We Do In The Shadows”, along with the upcoming series from Sterlin Harjo. He has also worked on “Interior Chinatown” and “Next Goal Wins”.
If FX picks up the pilot for the new series, it should be released on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States and on Disney+ internationally.
