Hulu is developing a brand new original crime drama series called “Durango”, which tells the story of two Gen Z nobodies, Bunny and Mikey, one a down-and-out waitress, the other a washed up ski-bum, whose lives are placed in peril after they impulsively grab a pile of money from Mikey’s ex (fake) wife, and her current (real) Russian gangster lover.

A Bonnie and Clyde for the TikTok generation, ‘Durango’ is a look at love, crime, domesticity, conspiracy and passion through the lens of two young rebels who decide they aren’t going to settle for the disappointing existence life has gifted them.

According to Variety, this new series is going to be written by by Eliza Clark, who has previously worked on the FX series, “Y: The Last Man”, along with “Animal Kingdom”, “Extant”, “The Killing” and “Rubicon”.

She will be an executive producer along with Michael Ellenberg and Lindsey Springer from Media Res, who have also worked on “The Morning Show” and “Pachinko.”

Very little else has been revealed about the upcoming series, such as who will star in the show, or when it’s likely to be produced and released. As with other Hulu original shows, we should expect to also see it released on Hulu On Disney+ and possibly also released internationally as a Star Original on Disney+, though nothing has yet been officiall announced by Disney.
