Disney’s ABC Signature Studios is currently developing a new 10-episode series called,  “Career Opportunities in Murder and Mayhem”.   The series will be released as a Hulu Original, and we should expect that it will also be released as a Star Original on Star+ in Latin America and on Disney+ internationally.

How do you solve a murder in a post-fact world? Especially when sailing the Mediterranean on an ocean liner filled with the wealthy and powerful. Everyone on board is hiding something… but is one of them a killer? That’s what the world’s once greatest detective, Rufus Cotesworth, and his protégée aim to discover. The truth at all costs.

The series is going to star Mandy Patinkin, along with  Lauren Patten, Hugo Diego Garcia, Angela Zhou and Rahul Kohli.

Deadline has revealed that Annie Q. Riegel has been cast in a major recurring role.  She has previously starred in “Kung Fu” and “The Leftovers”.    In “Career Opportunities in Murder and Mayhem”,  Annie Q. Riegel will play the role of Winnie.

The project is being written by Mike Weiss and Heidi Cole McAdams, who previously worked with ABC on “Stumptown” and it will be directed by Marc Webb.

The series received a 10-episode order from Hulu earlier this year. The series will go into production this month and continue through December. Other cast members include Lauren Patten, Hugo Diego Garcia, Angela Zhou and Rahul Kohli.
