A New “Star Wars: Mandalorian” Spinoff Series Reportedly In Development
Lucasfilm has many different projects in development for Disney+, including “Lando”, “Skeleton Crew”, “The Acolyte” and a second season of “Andor”. Plus, the world of “The Mandalorian” is set to expand later this year with the third season of the show and its spinoff series, “Ahsoka”.
But “Ahsoka” might not be the only “Mandalorian” spinoff, as according to entertainment insider Daniel Richtman, another show is in development, which will be connected to the “MandoVerse”.
The project is currently going by the code name of “Ghost Track 17”, this could be in reference to the ship “The Ghost”, which is the main spaceship used in the animated show, “Rebels”, that introduced many new characters that were also created by Dave Filoni.
There are no specific details regarding what this new series is going to be about, who will star in it or when it will be released.
Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni have previously teased at the Star Wars Celebration 2022 event in Anaheim, California, that there would be a crossover event between all the Disney+ that they are created.
Officially, Disney hasn’t announced this potential spinoff. With Disney returning to London in April for another Star Wars Celebration event, this could be where we learn more details about the upcoming Star Wars projects.
