“A Complete Unknown” Coming Soon To Hulu & Hulu On Disney+
Disney has announced that the Oscar-nominated movie, “A Complete Unknown”, will be coming very soon to Hulu and Hulu On Disney+.
The film offers an intimate portrayal of Bob Dylan’s transformative years in the early 1960s. It’s set in New York in 1961, against the backdrop of a vibrant music scene and tumultuous cultural upheaval. An enigmatic 19-year-old from Minnesota arrives with his guitar and revolutionary talent, destined to change the course of American music. He forges intimate relationships with music icons of Greenwich Village on his meteoric rise, culminating in a groundbreaking and controversial performance that reverberates worldwide.
Timothée Chalamet stars and sings as Bob Dylan in James Mangold’s “A Complete Unknown”, the electric true story behind the rise of one of the most iconic singer-songwriters in history. The film also stars Edward Norton as Pete Seeger, Elle Fanning as Sylvie Russo, Monica Barbaro as Joan Baez, Boyd Holbrook as Johnny Cash and Scoot McNairy as Woody Guthrie.
The film has been directed and co-written by Academy Award nominee James Mangold, who has previously directed “Logan” and “Indiana Jones And The Dial Of Destiny”.
This film hit cinemas on Christmas Day, pulling in over $130 million at the global box office, with a digital release in late February. This continues the trend of movies having a good three month theatrical release window, plus Disney would have wanted to have benefited from the buzz surrounding the movie due to the Oscar nominations.
“A Complete Unknown” will arrive on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ for Disney Bundled Subscribers on March 27th 2025. We should also expect to see the film also made available on Disney+ internationally, though no release date has yet been announced.
