“The Secret Lives Of Mormon Wives” Season 5 Suspends Filming
One of the most popular reality shows on Hulu and Disney+ is “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives”, which follows the scandalous world of a group of Mormon mom influencers, who are caught in the midst of a swinging sex scandal that makes international headlines. Now, their sisterhood is shaken to its core. Faith, friendship and reputation are all on the line. Will #MomTok be able to survive and continue to give the rulebook a run for its money, or will this group fall from grace?
The show is one of the most-watched shows on Hulu and Disney+, with four seasons already released on those streaming services.
Unfortunately, fans are likely going to have to wait a little longer for the fifth season, as it’s been revealed that filming has been suspended following allegations of domestic assault.
According to People Magazine, these allegations are between Taylor Frankie Paul and her ex, Dakota Mortensen, with the Draper City Police Department spokesperson telling the publication that there is an open “domestic assault investigation” involving the pair, with allegations “made in both directions”.
“They are not filming. Taylor [Frankie Paul] has some pretty serious stuff happening regarding her past, and they will see what happens. Until that resolves, they are off”
It’s unfortunate timing as Taylor Frankie Paul is also starring in the ABC hit show, “The Bachelorette”, which premieres later this month on ABC, Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States on March 22nd 2026. Depending on the situation, it wouldn’t be a big surprise if that premiere gets delayed, if the situation regarding these allegations gets worse.
