20th Television Developing New Comedy Series “C-League” For Hulu
20th Television is developing a new half-hour comedy series called “C-League”, which is being created by Charlie Hall, who has previously worked on “Monster: The Ed Gein Story” and “The Sex Lives of College Girls”.
“C-League” follows five best friends in their late 20s on a quest to win the championship of their men’s adult recreational basketball league. Together they’ll attempt to battle male loneliness, navigate modern masculinity, and ideally shoot better than 26% from three and not be winded by halftime.

According to Deadline, also developing this new show are Alec Berg and Amy Solomon, who both previously worked on “Barry” and “Silicon Valley”, who have an overall deal with 20th Television. Alec Berg has also previously worked on “Curb Your Enthusiasm” and “Seinfeld”. The duo are also working on another comedy series for Hulu based on the life of Jake Shane, a comedian best known for his podcast “Therapuss.”
The project is in development for Hulu/Disney+, though it’s still in the early stages of development, so it’s unclear when this might eventually get released on the streaming service.
