Hulu’s “Swiped” Premieres At The Toronto International Film Festival
On Tuesday evening, Disney hosted the world premiere of the new 20th Century Studios’ film “Swiped” at the 50th annual Toronto International Film Festival.
The new movie has been inspired by the provocative story of the visionary founder of online dating platform Bumble, “Swiped” introduces recent college grad Whitney Wolfe, played by Lily James, as she uses extraordinary grit and ingenuity to break into the male-dominated tech industry and launch an innovative, globally lauded dating app (two, actually), paving the way to becoming the youngest female self-made billionaire.
Cast members in attendance included Lily James, Jackson White, Ben Schnetzer and Myha’la. They were joined by director and writer Rachel Lee Goldenberg, producers Jennifer Gibgot, Andrew Panay, and executive producer Gala Gordon.
