“20/20: First Comes Love, Then Comes Murder” Coming Soon To ABC, Hulu & Hulu On Disney+

Disney has announced details on an upcoming new episode of “20/20”, which is called “First Comes Love, Then Comes Murder”, which is coming soon to ABC, Hulu and Hulu On Disney+.

This episode tells the story of what happened when a wife and mother in an affluent suburb of Washington, D.C., fails to show up for work, her boss and husband go to her home looking for her. However, upon arriving, they soon find a crime scene waiting for them. A 911 call prompts authorities to discover the body of Leslie Preer. While investigating the murder, authorities initially set their sights on Leslie’s husband as a suspect, but when DNA under Leslie’s fingernails points to an unknown male, the case goes cold — until nearly 25 years later, when DNA evidence is collected at a D.C.-area airport, leading authorities straight to a killer.

ABC News’ “20/20” is an award-winning primetime program anchored by David Muir and Deborah Roberts. Correspondent Stephanie Ramos shares this unique story.

This all-new episode will be released on Friday, 12th September 2025, at 9pm on ABC, and it will be available the next day on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+. It’ll also be available to stream on ABC News digital platforms.
