Later this week, Disney is releasing the third season of the popular FX series, “The Bear”, on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States and on Disney+ around the world.

Season three of FX’s “The Bear” follows Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto (Jeremy Allen White), Sydney Adamu (Ayo Edebiri) and Richard “Richie” Jerimovich (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) as they do what it takes to elevate The Bear, their beef stand turned fine dining establishment, to the highest level, all while doing their best just to stay in business. It’s a losing battle every single day in the restaurant business. Carmy pushes himself harder than ever, and demands excellence from his crew, who do their best to match his intensity.

Their quest for culinary excellence will propel the crew to new levels and stress the bonds that hold the restaurant together. As the team grows in size, each member will strive to reach a greater level of service within their role. In the restaurant industry, you’re never on solid ground, and with that ever-changing landscape comes new challenges and opportunities. Our chefs have learned that every second counts, but this season, we’ll find out if they have what it takes to make it to tomorrow.

It’s been announced that Disney will give “The Bear” the prime-time release treatment that it only gives to its biggest shows, usually from Marvel and Star Wars.

The entire third season of “The Bear” will now drop onto Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States at 9pm ET / 6pm PT on Wednesday 26th June 2024. This will mean the show will be released hours earlier than normal, as Disney+/Hulu usually updates at midnight on the West Coast.

The good news for Disney+ subscribers around the world, is that the show will also be released at the new time in the UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Gibraltar, the Balkans, Singapore, the Philippines, Hong Kong, Egypt, and select countries in the Middle East. Disney will release the third season of “The Bear” in all other territories at a later date.

The half-hour series also stars Abby Elliott, Lionel Boyce, Liza Colón-Zayas and Matty Matheson, with Oliver Platt and Molly Gordon in recurring roles.

FX’s “The Bear” was Created by Christopher Storer, who is Executive Producer alongside Josh Senior, Joanna Calo, Cooper Wehde, Tyson Bidner, Matty Matheson and Hiro Murai. Courtney Storer serves as a Co-Executive Producer and Culinary producer. The series is produced by FX Productions.

You can watch the previous two seasons of “The Bear” are also available to stream now on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the US and on Disney+ around the world.

Roger’s Take: There is a lot of excitement about the release of the third season of “The Bear”, and it is great to see Disney has such faith in the show, that it wants to give it a prime-time release to capitalise on the social media buzz, plus give it a boost in viewership.  However, for me, it’s still going to be in the middle of the night, so I’ll check out the new season in the morning!

Are you looking forward to the release of the third season of “The Bear”?
