Marvel’s “Thunderbolts*” Wraps Filming
After many delays due to the pandemic and Hollywood strikes, filming on Marvel Studios’ latest movie, “Thunderbolts*” has finally finished in Atlanta, Georgia.
The new movie brings together many of the anti-hero characters from previous films, and Disney+ shows to help save the world, including Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, along with Sebastian Stan as Winter Soldier, David Harbour as Red Guardian, Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, Wyatt Russell as US Agent, Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost and Olga Kurylenko as Taskmaster.
David Harbour took to social media to reveal that filming has now wrapped.
Wrapped. Loved making this. Love the ‘bolts. #thunderbolts* #redguardian
Earlier this year, during a special Walt Disney Studios presentation at CinemaCon, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige revealed that the “Thunderbolts” film has gone through a slight renaming, with the addition of a * at the end. However, we won’t know what that is in reference to until the movie is released.
“Thunderbolts*” is set to arrive in cinemas on May 2nd, 2025, so it gives them plenty of time to do any post-production, like visual effects and any reshoots or pickups that are required.
