This May, Ryan Murphy and Emily Blunt return to the big screen with a brand new film, “The Fall Guy”, which has been inspired by the classic 1980s TV series and is about a stuntman, who, like everyone in the stunt community, gets blown up, shot, crashed, thrown through windows and dropped from the highest of heights, all for our entertainment. And now, fresh off an almost career-ending accident, this working-class hero has to track down a missing movie star, solve a conspiracy and try to win back the love of his life while still doing his day job. What could possibly go right?

“The Fall Guy” has been directed by David Leitch, who is behind “Bullet Train” and “Deadpool 2”. The movie also stars Hannah Waddingham, Winston Duke, Stephanie Hsu and Aaron Taylor-Johnson.

Will “The Fall Guy” Be Released On Disney+?

Unfortunately, since “The Fall Guy” is created by Universal Studios, it won’t be available on Disney+. Once the film has finished its theatrical run and digital release, it will be heading to Comcast’s streaming services, which include Peacock in the United States and Sky Cinema in the United Kingdom, for its pay-one streaming window.

In the United States, several Universal titles are available on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ due to an existing deal when Comcast still owned part of Hulu.

However, this deal is coming to an end and is unlikely to be renewed now that Comcast has sold its stake in Hulu to Disney. This means we are unlikely to see “The Fall Guy” arrive on Hulu and also on Hulu On Disney+.

Internationally, things are much simpler since Disney doesn’t license Universal Studios films or shows for Disney+. Therefore, we won’t see “The Fall Guy” released on Disney+ unless there is a major change in strategy, which is unlikely.
