This summer, the next instalment in the popular “A Quiet Place” franchise is being released called “A Quiet Place: Day One”, which begins on an otherwise ordinary day in New York that is suddenly ripped apart by the arrival of horrific alien monsters that hunt by sound. A small group of survivors must band together in absolute silence if they want to see a brand new dawn.

“A Quiet Place: Day One” is a prequel to “A Quiet Place”, which was originally released in 2018, and a sequel was released in 2021.

This new film, directed by Michael Sarnoski, stars Lupita Nyong’o, Joseph Quinn, Alex Wolff, and Djimon Hounsou.

When Is “A Quiet Place: Day One” Released?

“A Quiet Place: Day One” is being released exclusively in cinemas on Friday 28th June 2024.

When Will “A Quiet Place: Day One” Be On Disney+?

“A Quiet Place: Day One” has been created and distributed by Paramount Pictures, which means that once it finishes its theatrical run, it will be released on digital platforms to buy and rent before eventually going to Paramount+.

However, Paramount does have some licensing deals in place for its films. Currently, “A Quiet Place: Part Two” is available to stream on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States. So, in a few years, it’s possible that Paramount might license its films to Disney.

Internationally, we are unlikely to see “A Quiet Place: Part Two” available on Disney+.

There is also lots of speculation about the future of Paramount+ and where its content might head in the future, as the company deals with a large amount of debt and is looking into possible partnerships with other companies for the distribution of its content.
