It’s Friday and time to take a look at what’s new on Disney+ in Australia and New Zealand, which includes a brand new original film, “The Princess” and some new additions to the library.

Here’s the rundown:


The Princess

When a beautiful, strong-willed princess refuses to wed the cruel sociopath to whom she is betrothed, she is kidnapped and locked in a remote tower of her father’s castle. With her scorned, vindictive suitor intent on taking her father’s throne, the princess must protect her family and save the kingdom.


Marvel Legends – 3 New Episodes

An insight into various Marvel Cinematic Universe heroes and villains in an attempt to provide a refresher for Thor, Jane Foster and Valkyrie ahead of the release of “Thor: Love & Thunder”.


Bee Season

The life of an 11-year-old girl, Eliza Naumann, changes when she is about to participate in the National Spelling Bee. Her introvert father and neurotic mother have a spiritual awakening.


A Cure for Wellness

Lockhart, an executive, is sent to a wellness spa in the Swiss Alps to retrieve his company’s CEO. At the centre, he encounters strange activities that make him investigate the illness of the people.


Mack Wrestles

The story of Mack Beggs, a transgender high school wrestler from Euless, Texas, who must compete under the gender he was assigned at birth rather than how he identifies.


True Story

A disgraced New York Times journalist is accused of lying in a cover article. His troubles increase when he learns that he is a victim of identity theft and the man who stole his name is in jail.


Truth and Lies: The Last Gangster

A look inside the infamous Gambino mob family, featuring a new interview with one of the most notorious hit men in mafia history, Sammy “The Bull” Gravano.


Mirrors (2008)

Ben guards a partly destroyed property during the nights but begins to see strange images in its impeccable mirrors. After his sister is killed, he is convinced that evil forces are out to get him.


Made In America (1993)

Zora, a high school student, is a proud African-American and lives with her widowed mother. However, her life turns upside down when she learns that her biological father is white.
