It’s Friday and time to take a look at what’s been added onto Disney+ in Canada, which includes a brand new original film, “The Princess” and some new library content.

Here’s the rundown:


The Princess

When a beautiful, strong-willed princess refuses to wed the cruel sociopath to whom she is betrothed, she is kidnapped and locked in a remote tower of her father’s castle. With her scorned, vindictive suitor intent on taking her father’s throne, the princess must protect her family and save the kingdom.



Marvel Legends – 3 New Episodes

An insight into various Marvel Cinematic Universe heroes and villains in an attempt to provide a refresher for Thor, Jane Foster and Valkyrie ahead of the release of “Thor: Love & Thunder”.


AKA Jane Roe

“AKA Jane Roe” is a portrait of Norma McCorvey, whose unwanted pregnancy led to the 1973 case that legalized abortion nationwide, Roe v. Wade. The documentary unravels the mysteries closely guarded by McCorvey throughout her life.


The Birth of Big Air

Mat Hoffman is one of the pioneers of BMX. His motivation is neither money nor fame; it’s the purity of the sport.


The Good, the Bad, the Hungry

Stu, an ordinary Uber driver, gets embroiled in a mess when his passenger, a detective, sets out to chase a dangerous criminal.



Rebuilding Paradise

Early in the morning of November 8, 2018, a spark flies into the parched brush of the Sierra Nevada foothills. With little warning, flames are everywhere. Fierce diablo winds shower burning embers as house after house becomes a violent inferno. Propane tanks explode as desperate citizens grab their most precious possessions and jump into their vehicles hoping to escape.


Slaying the Badger

Before Lance Armstrong, there was Greg LeMond, who is now the first and only American to win the Tour de France. In this engrossing film, LeMond looks back at the pivotal 1986 Tour and his increasingly vicious rivalry with friend, teammate and mentor Bernard Hinault.
