Disney is kicking off March with two new additions from the back catalog of 20th Century Studios in the US. The animated smash hit, Ice Age, from Blue Sky Studios and Doctor Dolittle 2 starring Eddie Murphy. These titles have already been added in some countries.
With the impending ice age almost upon them, a mismatched trio of prehistoric critters – Manny the woolly mammoth, Diego the saber-toothed tiger and Sid the giant sloth – find an orphaned infant and decide to return it to its human parents. Along the way, the unlikely allies become friends but, when enemies attack, their quest takes on far nobler aims.
Dr Dolittle 2
A group of beavers ask Dr. Dolittle to save their habitat from loggers. The only hope is to get the forest preserved because it’s the home of a protected bear, but there’s a problem: the bear’s the only bear in the forest, so she can’t reproduce. Undaunted, Dolittle persuades a circus bear to help out, but he has to teach him not just the ways of the wild, but the wiles of lady bears too.
