Disney has announced some of the highlights of what’s coming to ESPN+ in May 2025, which will also be available to bundled subscribers on Disney+.

Standalone Disney+ subscribers will have access to a curated selection of live sports events, studio shows, and ESPN Films from ESPN+.

Here are some of the ESPN May highlights:


Original Programming

Stephanie’s Places – Date: Thru May 28

Step into the world of WWE with wrestling icon Stephanie McMahon as she joins Peyton Manning’s signature series. Through conversations with iconic wrestlers of the past and present, Stephanie delves into the rich history of professional wrestling, highlighting what has made WWE the most iconic and globally recognized name in the industry.

Game On: Journey to the NCAA Championship – Date: Thru May 30

Full Court Press Season 2

  • Episode 1 & 2: May 3

The four-part ESPN Original Series will immerse viewers in the world of elite women’s college basketball through the experiences of sophomore Notre Dame guard Hannah Hidalgo, junior LSU guard Flau’jae Johnson, and graduate student USC forward Kiki Iriafen. Through exclusive interviews and inside access, viewers will experience pivotal moments from the 2024-2025 season, both on and off the court, as each athlete blazes a path in this new era of women’s basketball.

The 2025 WNBA season tips off on ESPN+ on Sat, May 17 with an Opening Night doubleheader when Las Vegas faces New York and Chicago takes on Indiana.


Combat Sports

UFC 315: Belal Muhammad (C) vs. Jack Della Maddalena – Date: Saturday, May 10 (ESPN+ Pay-Per-View at 10 p.m. ET)

UFC 315 sets the stage for clash between Belal Muhammad and Jack Della Maddalena for the UFC welterweight championship live from Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The main card will stream on ESPN+ Pay-Per-View starting at 10 p.m. ET, with prelims at 8 p.m. on ESPN, ESPN+ and to all Disney+ subscribers via the ESPN on Disney+ hub and early prelims at 6 p.m. ET.

  • UFC Fight Night: Sandhagen vs. Figueiredo – Date: May 3
  • UFC Fight Night: Blanchfield vs. Barber – Date: May 31
  • Top Rank: Inoue (C) vs. Cardenas – Date: May 4
  • Top Rank: Navarrete (C) vs. Suarez – Date: May 10
  • 2025 PFL World Tournament (First Round): Heavyweights & Light Heavyweights – Date: May 1

Soccer

  • Event/Date: NWSL: Chicago Red Stars vs. Washington Spirit, May 10
  • Event/Date: LALIGA’s ElClásico: Barcelona vs. Real Madrid, May 11

On May 10, ESPN+ will stream NWSL’s Chicago Red Stars taking on the Washington Spirit followed by LALIGA’s ElClásico, a clash between archrivals FC Barcelona and Real Madrid on May 11.

The following weekend, ESPN+ has fans covered with action from both the FA Cup Final (May 17) and the Women’s FA Cup Final (May 18). The month rounds out on ESPN+ with the German Cup Final on May 24.


Ice Hockey

  • Event/Date: TBD

ESPN+ will stream one of the Conference Finals (TBD) in May, along with The Point and In the Crease studio shows.


Golf

  • Event/Date: The CJ CUP Byron Nelson, May 1-4
  • Event/Date: Truist Championship, May 8-11
  • Event/Date: PGA Championship, May 15-18
  • Event/Date: Memorial Tournament, May 29-June 1

PGA TOUR LIVE on ESPN+ continues its four-feed coverage in May with four tournaments, highlighted by the PGA Championship from May 15-18, The CJ CUP Byron Nelson from May 1-4, the Truist Championship from May 8-11 and the Memorial Tournament presented by Workday from May 29-June 1.

Both the Truist Championship and the Memorial Tournament feature PGATL BET Feeds.

All events’ first-round main feeds on Thursday will also stream on Disney+ and Hulu for all subscribers.


Lacrosse

  • Date: 2025 PLL College Draft, May 6
  • Event/Date: PLL Regular Season begins, May 30

The 2025 PLL College Draft presented by Q-Collar will be held on Tuesday, May 6 at 7 p.m. ET, streaming on ESPN+. Chris Cotter will host the College Draft, which will originate from ESPN’s Bristol headquarters, and will be joined by ESPN lacrosse analysts Paul Carcaterra and Ryan Boyle. The draft will consist of four rounds, with 32 collegiate athletes drafted to PLL teams. Premier Lacrosse League President and Co-founder, Paul Rabil will announce each teams’ draft picks alongside the PLL’s VP of Lacrosse, Rachael DeCecco. Coaches and general managers will be live in-studio, submitting their picks and navigating potential trades.

The Philadelphia Waterdogs have the first overall pick, with the California Redwoods picking second and third overall.

  • Premier Lacrosse League Regular Season – Date: May 30

The 2025 Premier Lacrosse League season begins with a doubleheader on ESPN+ on May 30 with Chaos facing Atlas at 6p.m. ET followed by Redwoods taking on Outlaws at 8:30p.m. ET.

  • National Lacrosse League – Date: Through May 26

ESPN+ will stream all NLL post-season matches through Memorial Day Weekend.


Formula 1

  • Event/Date: Miami Grand Prix, May 4
  • Event/Date: Monaco Grand Prix, May 25

In addition to the Miami Grand Prix (May 4) and the Monaco Grand Prix (May 25), ESPN+ will stream driver tracker and mixed on-board camera feeds for all races as well as every event from F1 Academy, Formula 2, Formula 3, and Porsche Supercup live throughout the season.
