What To Watch On Disney+ This Week | Marvel Studios: Legends
It’s the weekend and I wanted to pick out a few highlights for you to check out if you’re looking for something to watch on Disney+. This week is the first week we’ve not really had a new Disney+ Original movie, short or series to watch, so it’s a good time to take a look at the vast library of content available on Disney+.
Marvel Studios: Legends
While technically, Marvel Studios: Legends is the official “Disney+ Original” of the week, its only really a highlight reel of all the scenes featuring Wanda and Vision from the Marvel movies. There isn’t anything new in these short trailers, however, if you haven’t recently watched “Avengers: Age Of Ultron” or “Captain America: Civil War”, this is a great way of catching up on events that lead up to the new Disney+ series, “WandaVision”, which is coming next Friday.
Ferdinand
The biggest new release on Disney+ in the US this week is the Blue Sky Studios animated movie, “Ferdinand”, which tells the story of a soft-hearted bull called Ferdinand, who is played by WWE Superstar John Cena. Ferdinand escapes from Casa del Toro after his father does not return from the bullfight. However, due to a turn of events, he is taken back to the place he escaped from. This is on my personal watchlist to watch this weekend as I’ve never seen it and with no real Disney+ Originals this weekend, it’s a good time to check out something I’ve not seen before.
The Muppets
Diving into the Disney+ library, I’ve picked “The Muppets” from 2011 as my suggestion to watch. “The Muppets” is about three fans named Gary, Mary and Walter, who set out to reunite the Muppets to save the Muppet Theater from annihilation. But, they must look for each one of them as they have disappeared into obscurity. With plenty of craziness in the world right now, this is a fun movie to just catch up on the antics of Kermit, Miss Piggy and the gang.
Bolt
This underrated Disney animated movie tells the story of Bolt, who is a dog that stars in a superhit television show in which he possesses superpowers. However, things change when he believes his powers are real and embarks on a purposeful mission. I watched this movie this past week after a request from a Patreon, as part of Movie Club Podcast series and completely forgot how much I enjoyed this movie. Plus with having a puppy during the lockdown, Bolt seems so much cuter.
Marvel’s Agents Of Shield – Season 7
Disney is releasing new episodes of the seventh season of “Marvel’s Agents of Shield” weekly in the UK and I’ve been thoroughly enjoying this final season of the show. This seventh season sees the team travelling through time trying to stop the Chronicoms from changing history. The 10th episode just dropped on Disney+ in the UK on Friday and will be something I’m going to be personally sitting down to enjoy this afternoon.

Lots of people overlook Walt's brother. He was the guy who handled the practical side of things, Walt would come up with wild ideas and Roy figured out how to get the money.
