Nick Fury continues his mission to stop the Skrulls’ secret invasion. Zoey Johnson is off to college where she is “grown-ish.” And America reveals more of its funniest home videos. Let’s take a look at what to watch this weekend on Disney+.

SECRET INVASION

In Marvel Studios’ new series “Secret Invasion,” set in the present day MCU, Nick Fury learns of a clandestine invasion of Earth by a faction of shapeshifting Skrulls. Fury joins his allies, including Everett Ross, Maria Hill and the Skrull Talos, who has made a life for himself on Earth. Together they race against time to thwart the imminent Skrull invasion and save humanity.

ASSEMBLED: THE MAKING OF ANT-MAN AND THE WASP: QUANTUMANIA

In this latest special, we get to go behind the scenes with the cast and creative team who brought the movie to life. Combining immersive footage with candid interviews, this episode of Assembled reveals how an incredible new world was brought to life on the big screen.

In “Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania”, Super Heroes Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) return to continue their adventures as “Ant-Man and The Wasp”. Together, with Hope’s parents Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer) and Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), and Scott’s daughter Cassie Lang (Kathryn Newton), the family finds themselves exploring the Quantum Realm, interacting with strange new creatures and embarking on an adventure that will push them beyond the limits of what they thought possible.

GROWN-ISH

Zoey Johnson starts to attend college but soon realises that her life is not turning out to be the way she imagined it.

HAILEY’S ON IT

Hailey, a risk-averse but resourceful teenager in Oceanside, Calif., is on a mission to complete every item on her long list of challenging — and sometimes impractical — tasks to save the world.

AMERICA’S FUNNIEST HOME VIDEOS

Viewers send in home-made videos capturing comical situations, mishaps and staged pranks. The studio audience votes for the funniest video, which wins attractive prizes.

JUSTIFIED: CITY PRIMEVAL

Having left the hollers of Kentucky 15 years ago, Raylan Givens (Timothy Olyphant) now lives in Miami, a walking anachronism balancing his life as a U.S. Marshal and part-time father of a 15-year-old girl. His hair is grayer, his hat is dirtier, and the road in front of him is suddenly a lot shorter than the road behind.

A chance encounter on a desolate Florida highway sends him to Detroit. There he crosses paths with Clement Mansell (Boyd Holbrook), aka The Oklahoma Wildman, a violent, sociopathic desperado who’s already slipped through the fingers of Detroit’s finest once and aims to do so again. Mansell’s lawyer, formidable Motor City native Carolyn Wilder (Aunjanue Ellis), has every intention of representing her client, even as she finds herself caught in between cop and criminal, with her own game afoot as well. These three characters set out on a collision course in classic Elmore Leonard fashion, to see who makes it out of the City Primeval alive.

THE GREAT MOUSE DETECTIVE

If you are looking for legacy content, check out “The Great Mouse Detective.” This film from Disney’s Bronze Age gives the classic tale of Sherlock Holmes a Disney spin by making the main characters mice. As we all know, Disney does well with mice.

Those are my picks. What will you be watching this weekend on Disney+?
