West Duchovny To Star In “Saint X”
ABC Signature is currently developing a brand new drama series called “Saint X” for Disney’s streaming services, where it will be released on Hulu in the United States and as a Star Original on Disney+ internationally.
This new series is based on Alexis Schaitkin’s novel, “Saint X” is a psychological drama told via multiple timelines and perspectives that explores and upends the girl-gone-missing genre. It’s a show about how a young woman’s mysterious death during an idyllic Caribbean vacation creates a traumatic ripple effect that eventually pulls her surviving sister into a dangerous pursuit of the truth.
Last week, it was revealed that Josh Bonzie is going to be starring in the series, opposite the previously announced Victoria Pedretti.
Today, it was revealed that West Duchovny has joined the cast of the limited series, where she will play Alison, a smart and charismatic young woman who is beginning to look at her own privilege through a critical lens as she vacations with her family at a beautiful island resort.
West Duchovny is the daughter of “X-Files” David Duchovny and “Bad Boys” Téa Leoni. West has recently starred in “Linoleum” and will be starring in the upcoming series, “Painkiller”.
“Saint X” is an eight-part series and is being written by Leila Gerstein, who has previously worked on “The Handmaid’s Tale” and will be executive producing the project. It will be directed by Dee Rees, who is also executive producing the show.
Other executive producers include Stephen Williams will also executive produce with David Levine and Zack Hayden for Anonymous Content, Aubrey Graham pka Drake, Adel “Future” Nur, and Jason Shrier for Dreamcrew Entertainment, Alexis Schaitkin, and Steve Pearlman.
