Disney has announced that the upcoming original limited series, “Welcome to Chippendales,” will be coming to Disney+ in the United Kingdom and Ireland, along with the rest of Europe on January 11th 2023.

“Welcome to Chippendales” is a  sprawling true-crime saga, “Welcome to Chippendales” tells the outrageous story of Somen “Steve” Banerjee, an Indian immigrant who became the unlikely founder of the world’s greatest male-stripping empire—and let nothing stand in his way in the process.

The series stars series regulars Kumail Nanjiani, Murray Bartlett, Juliette Lewis, and Annaleigh Ashford, with recurring guest stars Quentin Plair, Robin de Jesús, Andrew Rannells, Spencer Boldman and guest stars Nicola Peltz Beckham and Dan Stevens.

Robert Siegel and Nanjiani executive produce alongside Dylan Sellers, Jenni Konner, Matt Shakman, Emily V. Gordon, Nora Silver and Rajiv Joseph, who will write on the series along with Mehar Sethi. Siegel and Konner serve as co-showrunners and Shakman will direct. Jacqui Rivera is co-executive producer and Annie Wyman is co-producer.

The series will debut on Hulu in the United States on Tuesday 22nd November 2022 with two episodes, with new episodes being released on Tuesdays.  The series will also be released on Disney+ in many other countries including Australia, Canada, Singapore and New Zealand on the same day. While there is a delay due to the European launch, which is likely to be because of dubbing/subtitle issues, with a weekly release schedule, the finale will be released just a week before the European launch.
