Nielsen has announced its top 10 streaming charts for the week of 18th January until 24th January 2021 for the United States.  There are three different charts, Top 10 Originals, Acquired Shows and Movies.  Netflix continues to dominate the charts, but Disney+ is still able to get some entries into the charts.

Marvel’s “WandaVision” dropped into seventh place, which was when the third episode dropped onto Disney+.  Recent data shows that it wasn’t until the fourth episode arrived, that the show started picking up more popularity.

The movie chart continues to see popular films on Disney+ take up 4 out of 10 slots, with “Moana”, “Soul”, “Frozen 2” and “Beauty and the Beast” proving their long term appeal.

While two ABC series “Criminal Minds” and “Grey’s Anatomy” also dominate the top of the acquired series chart.

Numbers indicate how many million minutes have been viewed.  HBO Max and Peacock aren’t currently included on the Nielsen streaming chart.
