Later this week, the BBC and Disney will release the first two episodes of the brand new season of the British classic sci-fi series, “Doctor Who” and to hype up the series, Disney has released two new character posters featuring the Fifteenth Doctor, played by Ncuti Gatwa, and his companion Ruby Sunday, portrayed by Millie Gibson. 

This season of “Doctor Who” follows the Doctor and Ruby Sunday through infinite adventures across time and space in the TARDIS. From the Regency era in England to war-torn futures, the duo champion the forces of good while encountering incredible friends and dangerous foes.

While “Doctor Who” recently celebrated its 60th anniversary, with the new deal between the BBC and Disney, the show is going through a soft reboot for this new season, making it a perfect time for someone new to jump in.

The upcoming new season will launch simultaneously worldwide on Disney+ and on the BBC iPlayer in the United Kingdom. on Friday, 10th May 2024, at 7:00 p.m. EDT.  While in the UK, the season kicks off Saturday, 11th May 2024, at 12:00 a.m. GMT on BBC iPlayer, followed by BBC One later that day.    The 60th Anniversary specials are also available to stream on the BBC iPlayer in the UK and on Disney+ around the world.
