With filming starting to resume in Canada, 20th Century TV is set to begin production on the upcoming Disney+ series, “Turner and Hooch”.  According to Deadline, it’s believed the show is just in the final preparation stages, which falls inline with previous news that director McG was going to be directing episodes of the show and production was set to start on September 22nd.  Production was delayed earlier this year due to the Coronavirus, though if there are any further outbreaks, especially among the cast and crew, more delays could happen.

The new series will see Drake & Josh star Josh Peck in the lead role of U.S. Marshal Scott Turner.   This series has been given a formal series order, which will also consist of 12 episodes, each around an hour long.  Vanessa Lengies will also star in the series.

Turner & Hooch is being created by Matt Nix, who was the creator of Marvel’s X-Men series, The Gifted for 20th Century Television, who is also making the series for Disney+.

The original Turner and Hooch movie starring Tom Hanks is available now on Disney+.

Are you looking forward to a remake of “Turner & Hooch”?
