Every month Disney+ adds new series and films to the service. It also adds new seasons of popular shows that are already on the service. I’m going to rank the top 5 films and series I’m excited to see coming to Disney+ in September.

5. DANCING WITH THE STARS – SEASON 31

The hit ABC series is making the move to Disney+. It will be the first series live-streamed on the service. Tyra Banks and Alfons Ribeiro will host the show that pairs celebrities with trained ballroom dancers to compete in themed choreographed dance routines that are judged by a panel of renowned ballroom experts. The first episode of Season 31 hits Monday, September 19th.

4. THE MIGHTY DUCKS: GAME CHANGERS – SEASON 2

The Don’t Bothers are now the Mighty Ducks after winning back the team name last year. Now, Coach Morrow is taking the team on the road to attend an intense summer hockey institute in California run by charming yet hardcore former NHL player, played by Josh Duhamel, who is replacing Emilio Estevez. Episode 1 of season 2 premieres Wednesday, September 28th.

3. HOCUS POCUS 2

The Sanderson sisters return in “Hocus Pocus 2.” Three young women accidentally bring Winnifred, Mary and Sarah back to modern day Salem and must figure out how to stop the child-hungry witches from wreaking a new kind of havoc on the world. The long-awaited sequel to the cult classic hits Disney+ Friday, September 30th.

2. THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER

The fourth movie in the “Thor” franchise makes its debut on Disney+ Day in “Thor: Love and Thunder.” Thor goes on a journey of self-discovery, ut his efforts are interrupted by a galactic killer known as Gorr the God Butcher, who seeks the extinction of the gods. Thor enlists the help of King Valkyrie, Korg, and The Mighty Thor, Jane Foster. “Thor: Love and Thunder” premieres Thursday, September 8th.

1. STAR WARS: ANDOR

The latest “Star Wars” series takes a look at the life of Cassian Andor, first introduced to audiences in “Rogue One.” Diego Luna reprises his role as the rebel as the series follows Andor’s journey to discover the difference he can make as the rebellion against the Empire grows. The first three episodes drop on Disney+ on Wednesday, September 21st.

Those are the top five films and series I’m most excited for in September. Which ones are you excited for? Are there any I didn’t name that you can’t wait to see?
