Disney has announced that it will be releasing the first two episodes of the Disney+ Original series, “The Santa Clauses” across its linear networks in the United States to promote the series.  Over the “Thanksgiving” week, Disney did something similar with “Star Wars: Andor”.

The series tells the story of Scott, who after being Santa Claus for nearly thirty years, he’s as jolly as ever. But as Christmas declines in popularity, so does his Santa magic. Scott struggles to keep up with the demands of the job, as well as being there for his family. Upon discovering there is a way to retire from his post, Scott considers stepping down as Santa Claus and finding a worthy successor so that he can become a better father and husband.

Here’s when the first two episodes will be airing on linear television:

  • Freeform: Friday 16th December 2022 at 8 pm (EST/PST)
  • FX: Saturday, 17th December 2022 at 8 pm (EST/PST)
  • ABC: Christmas Eve – 24th December 2022 at 3:30 pm (EST)/12:30 pm (PST)
  • Disney Channel – Christmas Day – 25th December 2022 at 7 pm (EST/PST)

The entire first season of “The Santa Clauses” is available to stream now on Disney+, and earlier today, Disney announced the show has been picked up for a second season.

Santa also sent over a letter to announce the linear release:
