“The Fault In Our Stars” Removed From Disney+ Again (US)
Disney has once again removed the 20th Century Studios film, “The Fault In Our Stars”, from Disney+ in the United States.
The film has been removed from Disney+ and is now available to stream on HBO Max due to a contract that 20th Century Fox made with HBO prior to Disney purchasing the company. This is the second time that the film has been removed from Disney+, however, the good news is that it will return at some point in the future, but we don’t know when that will be.
Hazel Grace Lancaster (Shailene Woodley), a 16-year-old cancer patient, meets and falls in love with Gus Waters (Ansel Elgort), a similarly afflicted teen from her cancer support group. Hazel feels that Gus really understands her. They both share the same acerbic wit and a love of books, especially Grace’s touchstone, “An Imperial Affliction” by Peter Van Houten. When Gus scores an invitation to meet the reclusive author, he and Hazel embark on the adventure of their brief lives.

At the start of every month, Disney is forced to remove some titles from Disney+ in the United States. Unfortunately, Disney doesn’t inform subscribers in advance when a title is about to be removed. The film is still available to watch on Disney+ in many other countries, since this temporary removal only impacts US subscribers.
