At the start of every month, Disney is often forced to remove a small selection of films from Disney+ in the United States due to contracts made by 20th Century Fox, prior to the Walt Disney Company purchasing the company.

Unfortunately, today, “Eragon”, has once again been removed from Disney+ in the United States and is now available to stream on Starz.

The film is set in a mythical time, where a teenage boy becomes a dragon rider with the help of a wise old man, and the boy and his newly-hatched dragon avenge the murder of the boy’s uncle, rescue a beautiful warrior, and join the resistance to a tyrannical king.

Recently, it was revealed that 20th Television is developing a brand new series for Disney+ based on the “Inheritance Cycle”, of which “Eragon” is the first book from this book series.

The good news is that “Eragon” will return to Disney+ at some point in the future, once its existing contract is fulfilled. Much as it did when it was removed from Disney+ last year and returned just a few months later.

“Eragon” is still available to stream on Disney+ in other countries.

What do you think of Disney removing “Eragon” again?
