According to new data revealed by Samba TV, more people tuned in to watch the premiere of the latest Star Wars series, “The Book Of Boba Fett” than the premiere of the latest Marvel series “Hawkeye”.

In the first five days, from Wednesday 29th December 2021 through to Sunday 2nd January 2022, “The Book Of Boba Fett”, was watched by 1.7 million US households.  While across the first five days of the “Hawkeye” premiere in November, was watched by 1.5 million US households.

Resulting in “The Book Of Boba Fett” pulling in 13% more viewers than “Hawkeye”.  Though “The Book Of Boba Fett” was still 32% behind Marvel’s “Loki”, which was viewed by 2.5 million US households in June.

Samba TV measures across 46 million TV devices with a panel of 3 million Smart TV households who watched at least five minutes of an episode.

According to the data, the largest markets for “The Book Of Boba Fett” were Portland, followed by Seattle and Sacramento.

While internationally, the “Book Of Boba Fett” was watched by 188,000 households in the UK (down 6% compared to “Hawkeye”), while 69,000 households in Germany watched the premiere (up 10% on the “Hawkeye” premiere”.
