“The Bachelor” Renewed For A 30th Season

Disney has revealed that “The Bachelor” will be returning for its 30th season and that it will be getting a new showrunner.

Hit reality series “The Bachelor” offers some of America’s most eligible single men the chance to find true love. The series follows one charming Bachelor embarks on a romantic journey full of breathtaking dates, heartfelt moments and important conversations as they get to know a number of smart, confident and beautiful women each season. Each week, the leading man will hand out roses to those with whom his connection grows strongest, gradually narrowing the field in the search for his soulmate until only one rose remains.

According to Deadline, the new season will have a new showrunner, Scott Teti, who was also a showrunner on the spin-off series, “Bachelor In Paradise and “Claim to Fame”, plus some “Married at First Sight” spinoffs. Scott will be replacing Claire Freeland and Bennett Graebner, who exited in March following “toxic” workplace allegations.

“The Bachelor” is produced by Warner Bros. Unscripted Television in association with Warner Horizon.

ABC is apparently looking to get the new season on air during its usual midseason window, it will be available on ABC, along with Hulu and Hulu On Disney+. The announcement of the renewal was delayed while they looked for a new showrunner.
