Earlier this year, at the Star Wars Celebration event, Disney released the first trailer for the second season of the animated series, “The Bad Batch”, and announced that the series is going to premiere this fall exclusively on Disney+ and at one point, Disney+ featured a banner on the home page indicating that the series would be arriving on September 28th 2022, but was quickly removed.

However, today, Disney has confirmed that that will be the release date of the second season of “Star Wars: The Bad Batch” on Australia’s official Disney website.

In the second season, months have passed since the events on Kamino and the Bad Batch continue their journey navigating the Empire after the fall of the Republic. They will cross paths with friends and foes, both new and familiar, as they take on a variety of thrilling mercenary missions that will take them to unexpected and dangerous new places.

The second season of “Star Wars: The Bad Batch” consists of 16 episodes, which means we are going to see new episodes released throughout the winter through to January 2023.

It also means we will be getting episodes of “The Bad Batch” alongside “Star Wars: Andor” during the fall.

The entire first season of “The Bad Batch” is also available to stream on Disney+

Are you looking forward to the return of “The Bad Batch”?
