Today, Disney officially announced the lineup of titles that will be coming to Disney+ on February 23rd as part of its new general entertainment expansion, “Star”.

As part of the announcement, it was revealed that the 20th Century Studios animated series “Solar Opposites” is going to be available exclusively on Disney+ in the UK, Ireland, France, Germany Italy, Spain, Austria, Switzerland, Portugal, Belgium, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Iceland plus Australia, New Zealand, and Canada.

Co-created by Justin Roiland (Rick & Morty) and Mike McMahan (ex-writer’s assistant on Rick & Morty), Solar Opposites centers around a team of four aliens who escape their exploding home world only to crash land into a move-in ready home in suburban America. They are evenly split on whether Earth is awful or awesome. Korvo (Justin Roiland) and Yumyulack (Sean Giambrone) only see the pollution, crass consumerism, and human frailty while Terry (Thomas Middleditch) and Jesse (Mary Mack) love humans and all their TV, junk food and fun stuff. Their mission: protect the Pupa, a living super computer that will one day evolve into its true form, consume them and terraform the Earth.

“Solar Opposites” is executive produced by Roiland, McMahan and Josh Bycel. The series is produced by 20th Century Fox Television.

The first season will be available on Disney+ internationally on February 23rd 2021, a second season has recently been announced to be coming soon to Hulu in the United States, so hopefully, international fans won’t have to wait too long for this.
