Just ahead of the release of the fifth season of the hit adult animated series, “Solar Opposites”, during a panel at the San Diego Comic-Con, a brand new trailer for the series was released.

“Solar Opposites” centers around a team of four aliens who are evenly split on whether Earth is awful or awesome. Korvo (Dan Stevens) and Yumyulack (Sean Giambrone) only see the pollution, crass consumerism, and human frailty while Terry (Thomas Middleditch) and Jesse (Mary Mack) love TV, junk food and fun stuff. On season 5, now that alien mission partners Terry and Korvo are married, the whole Solar Opposites team are focused on family values.

The series stars Dan Stevens, Thomas Middleditch, Sean Giambrone, and Mary Mack. “Solar Opposites” is executive produced by Mike McMahan, Josh Bycel and Sydney Ryan. The series is produced by 20th Television Animation.

During the panel, Dan Stevens also announced via a pre-recorded video that the hit adult animation series has been renewed for a sixth season.   No release date has been announced for the sixth season yet.

“Solar Opposites” season five premieres on August 12th 2024 with all 11 episodes on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States and on Disney+ around the world. It was also announced that a Halloween special is coming later this year.

The previous four seasons of “Solar Opposites” are available to stream on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States and on Disney+ around the world.
