Following the season finale of the second season of Marvel Studios’ “What If?”, Disney has released a new clip showcasing an upcoming story from the third season of the animated series, which was confirmed earlier this year.

“What If…?” continues the journey as The Watcher guides viewers through the vast multiverse, introducing brand new and familiar faces throughout the MCU. The series questions, revisits and twists classic Marvel Cinematic moments with an incredible voice cast that includes a host of stars who reprise their iconic roles.

The new three-minute clip is called “A Look Into The Future” and features The Winter Soldier and The Red Guardian getting chased by the police, with a small nod to the “Fast And Furious” franchise.   This clip also gives us a preview of the potential chemistry between the characters ahead of them starring in the upcoming live-action film, “Thunderbolts”, which is coming out in 2025.

Currently, no release window for the third season of “What If?” has been announced, and we will likely not know too much about the next season for a while, since there was a two-year gap between the release of the first and second season.

Disney had already confirmed three new Marvel Studios animated series, “Your Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man”, “X-Men ’97”, and “Eyes Of Wakanda” are due to be released on Disney+ in 2024, so I’d be surprised if we saw the third season of “What If?” until late 2025.

While we wait for the third season, you can find both seasons of Marvel’s “What If?” on Disney+ now.
