20th Television is developing a new pilot for ABC called “Forgive & Forget”, which is going to be a multi-cam comedy that will star “Modern Family” actor Ty Burrell.

The pilot follows the perennial life of the party Hank, who ater an unexpected diagnosis, reconnects with his responsible adult son Ben in hopes of making new memories together.

Deadline has revealed that Sean Rodriguez Marquette, Diana Maria Riva and Kimia Behpoornia have joined the cast.

Sean Rodriguez Marquette will play Ben, Hank’s responsible adult son. After Hank receives an unexpected diagnosis, Ben reconnects with his father in hopes of making new memories together. Sean has previously starred in “The Goldbergs” and “13 Going On 30”.

Diana Maria Riva will play the role of Maria, who is Hank’s lively ex-wife and Ben’s nostalgic and affectionate mom. Diana has previously starred in “Tracker” and Netflix’s “Dead to Me”.

Kimia Behpoornia will play Izzy, Hank’s confident and blunt memory care therapist. Kimia has previously starred in “Abbott Elementary”, “Good Trouble” and “Reboot”.

This new series will be written by Eugene Garcia-Cross and Robin Shorr, who will both executive produce along with Ty Burrell. Robin will also be working as the showrunner on the project.

As with other pilots, if ABC picks up the show, expect to see it released on the ABC linear channel and on Hulu/Hulu On Disney+ in the United States and as a Star Original on Disney+ internationally.
