Quentin Plair & Wynn Everett To Star In Hulu’s “Chad Powers”
20th Television is developing a new half-hour comedy series called “Chad Powers”, which is based on an Eli Manning sketch that aired on ESPN+.
When bad behavior nukes hotshot QB Russ Holliday’s college career, he disguises himself and walks onto a struggling Southern football team as the talented, affable Chad Powers.
The new series is going to star Glen Powell as Chad Powers and he will also be an a writer and executive producer on the show, along with Michael Waldron, who have co-wrote the pilot. Eli Manning will also be serving as an executive producer along with Omaha Productions’ Peyton Manning, Jamie Horowitz, Ben Brown and ESPN.
Recently, it was revealed that Steve Zahn, Perry Mattfeld and Frankie A. Rodriguez have joined the cast of this new comedy series.
It has been revealed by Deadline, Quentin Plair and Wynn Everett have joined the cast of the upcoming show.
Quentin Plair has previously starred in National Geographic’s “Genius” and the Hulu/Star Original series, “Welcome To Chippendales”. In the new series, Quentin will play the role of Coach Byrd.
Wynn Everett has previously starred in “Sweet Magnolias”, “Agent Carter”, and “This Is Us”. She will be playing the role of Tricia.
“Chad Powers” will be released on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States and it will likely also be released as a Star Original on Disney+ internationally.
