Disney has announced details on a brand new Korean drama series called “The Judge From Hell”, which is a new action fantasy original series that will star Park Shin Hye and Kim Jae Young.

The series tells the story of a elite judge who has a cold character, but she is actually a demon. Her real job is to send culprits who don’t self-reflect to hell. She comes across as a warm and friendly detective who is smart but also carries a lot of pain. As the two meet, their lives drastically change.

Park Shin Hye will play Kang Bit Na, a devil in the guise of a judge, and Kim Jae Young will play a detective named Han Da On, who is warm-hearted but has sharp instincts.

“The Judge from Hell” was directed by Park Jin Pyo, who had previously directed “Brave Citizen” and “Love Forecast”. The show has been written by Jo Yi Soo.

The new series will consist of 14 episodes, with new episodes being released every Friday and Saturday at 10 pm KST on Disney+ around the world from September 21st 2024. The series will be released on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States.
