“Pupstruction” Renewed For A Second Season
Later this year, Disney Junior is releasing a brand new animated series called “Pupstruction”, which follows the adventures of the world’s first all-dog construction company, Pupstruction. It centres on Phinny, an innovative young corgi, who might be the smallest pup on the crew but proves that you don’t need big paws to have big dreams or big ideas.
At the Winter Television Critics Association Press Event, which occurred earlier today at the Langham Hotel in Pasadena, California, Ayo Davis, president of Disney Branded Television, announced that a second season of “Pupstruction” has also been commissioned, showing they have faith in the upcoming show. This announcement was made with other renewals of other Disney Junior shows, ‘Firebuds’ and ‘SuperKitties’.
In a statement, Ayo Davis said:
“‘Firebuds,’ ‘SuperKitties,’ and ‘Pupstruction’ all encompass what Disney Junior does best. Each of these series embrace signature Disney qualities of imagination, adventure and heart, with music you can sing along to, and fun, energetic characters that embody positivity, optimism and the power of teamwork.”
Emmy Award-nominated writer and producer, Travis Braun is the series creator and executive producer. Vic Cook (Disney Junior’s “T.O.T.S.”) also serves as executive producer, and Robyn Brown (Disney Junior’s “Muppet Babies”) is co-producer/story editor. Abigail Nesbitt (Disney Junior’s “T.O.T.S.”) is supervising director. The series is produced by Titmouse in association with Disney Junior and is slated to premiere on Disney Junior and Disney+ in 2023.
