Disney has announced that the entire first season of “Pretty Freekin’ Scary” is coming to Disney+ in Australia and New Zealand on Wednesday 20th September 2023.

“Pretty Freekin’ Scary”, which tells the story of fourteen-year-old Frankie Ripp, who had the perfect life – a great family, annoying little brother, a popular boyfriend and a BFF she could always count on. However, her life took a surprising turn after an unfortunate incident. After some heated debate in the Underworld with the Grim Reaper herself, Frankie is forced to navigate life with her new Underworld guardians, Pretty and Scary…in the most challenging setting of all…Middle School. Pretty freekin scary, huh?

Eliana Su’a stars as Frankie, with Kyan Samuels as Pretty, Leah Mei Gold as Scary, Yonas Kibreab as Remy, and Emma Shannon as Nyx. The show is being created by CakeStart Entertainment and Cloudco Entertainment. Jessica Kaminsky, Kory Lunsford, Loris Kramer Lunsford, Sean Gorman, Ian Lambur, Ryan Wiesbrock, Jason Netter and Ed Galton are executive producing the show.

The new series has already been released on the Disney Channel in the United States over the summer.
